On 3 September 2022, the Marcialonga Running COOP will once again take place, which for 20 years has been one of the most eagerly awaited running events of the year by runners and non-runners alike. The Marcialonga is a moment of celebration for all, the streets are filled with voices, colours and smells. It begins in Moena, the fairy of the Dolomites, and continues in the Val di Fiemme along the Avisio river through the villages of Predazzo, Ziano di Fiemme, Lago di Tesero and Masi di Cavalese to Viale Mendini in Cavalese, not far from the Eco Park Hotel Azalea.
Like the Marcialonga, the race runs over 26 km between the Val di Fassa and Val di Fiemme through the enchanting landscapes that only the Trentino Dolomites can offer.
The Marcialonga race is undoubtedly a race that requires good preparation, but the physical performance is accompanied by unforgettable scenery, immersion in the greenery and precious views of the Val di Fiemme.
Cavalese is the perfect place for concentration in the days before the race and relaxation afterwards.
After the race or training, there's nothing better than a yoga session to de-tire at the Eco Park Hotel Azalea. The hotel even offers several yoga classes per week, which are suitable (and recommended) for all athletes. The Marcialonga is not only sport, but also solidarity: the race can be completed in relay teams of three, in the name of sharing, solidarity and promoting physical activity for a healthy lifestyle. Registration for this type of race is possible through charities, which receive part of the fees at the time of registration to donate to solidarity projects.
